SCROLL DOWN UNTIL YOU SEE “UPDATE DOWNLOADS”
CLICK ON THE DOWNLOAD YOU WANT – EXAMPLE – DAILY CREW WORKSHEET
CLICK ON THE LINK FOR THE DOWNLOAD. YOU WILL BE ASKED IF YOU WANT TO RUN OR SAVE THE FILE. CHOOSE ”RUN”. CHOOSE “OPEN” IF YOU ARE NOT GIVEN THE “RUN” OPTION.
THE PROGRAM FILE WILL BE COPIED TO A TEMPORARY DOWNLOAD AREA. YOU MAY RECEIVE A WARNING THAT THE PUBLISHER CAN NOT BE FOUND. CHOOSE “RUN” AGAIN IF YOU RECEIVE THIS WARNING. CHOOSE “OPEN” IF YOU ARE NOT GIVEN THE “RUN” OPTION.
THE DEFAULT LOCATION FOR THE EXTRACTION WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE EXTRACTION WINDOW. THE DEFAULT LOCATION IS THE FOLDER CONTAINING THE PROGRAM. *** Note *** You need to know the folder that contains the current program. This folder should be the location you select for the extraction.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THE PROGRAM YOU ARE UPDATING IS NOT RUNNING. THE PROGRAM FILE NEEDS TO BE OVERWRITTEN.
CLICK ON THE “EXTRACT” BUTTON
YOU WILL BE PROMPTED FOR A PASSWORD.
ENTER THE PASSWORD AND CLICK “OK”
YOU MAY BE TOLD THE FILE ALREADY EXISTS. SELECT ‘YES’ OR ‘ALWAYS’ TO OVERWRITE THE OLD FILES.
START THE PROGRAM. GO TO HELP/ABOUT and MAKE SURE YOU HAVE
THE CURRENT PROGRAM (CHECK THE RELEASE DATE).
RUN THE SYSTEM UPDATE (SYSTEM MENU). THIS PROCEDURE WILL UPDATE ANY DATA FILE THAT HAS BEEN MODIFIED (NEW FIELDS ADDED), SO PLEASE MAKE SURE NO-ONE ELSE IS RUNNING THE PROGRAM.
INDEX YOUR DATA FILES (SYSTEM MENU). THIS PROCEDURE WILL RECREATE ALL THE INDEX FILES, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE NO-ONE ELSE IS RUNNING THE PROGRAM.
